Our Microcosmic Orbit
The Microcosmic Orbit is said to consist of two main pathways: the "Governor Vessel" or "Du Mai," which runs from the tailbone up the spine to the crown of the head, and the "Conception Vessel" or "Ren Mai," which runs from the pelvic area up the front of the body to the lower lip. These pathways are connected at the base of the spine and form a continuous loop of energy that circulates throughout the body.
