Marcus R. Harden, CMT

The founder and leading practitioner at MBODYWORX brings over two decades of experience as a seasoned massage therapist. Marcus’ transformative journey into holistic wellness began during his first-ever massage, sparking a profound passion for the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. His journey turned into a career focusing on neck and shoulder pain relief. Marcus specializes in treating active, health-conscious guests, offering tailored therapeutic solutions to lead pain-free lives.

“As a Southern California School of Massage graduate, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, ranging from a leading Forbes 5-Star Beach Resort, A Renowned Southern California Destination Retreat, AAA Four Diamond Hotel to Boutique Spas in Orange County, and both the Foremost Competitors in the Market for Branded Chain Health Clinics. I’ve honed my skills as a Spa Technician, Lead Therapist, Manager, and Regional Trainer. As the founder of MBODYWORX, I draw from these experiences, amalgamating various techniques to provide guests with top-tier care.

Community service is close to my heart. I often volunteer my skills at regional sporting events: cycling, marathons, and 5Ks, aiding athletes’ recovery and performance. I’ve also served as a mentor with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), guiding the next generation of therapists and fostering a strong sense of professional unity and growth.

My commitment to professional development is unwavering. I participate in professional association chapter meetings, continuously augmenting my skills through Continuing Education Units (CEUs), seminars, and workshops. I believe in collaboration and participating in Masterminds and Chamber meetings. You’ll often find me offering chair massages at art walks, health fairs, and other local events, connecting directly with the community and propagating the wellness benefits of massage and integrative bodywork.”

Being a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC License #40724), Marcus adheres to the highest standards of quality and ethics.
